Visitors had the wonderful opportunity to view the engines up close and learn more about their features and applications, while exclusive Mercury shirts and caps were made available as merchandise sold during the event.
Across the event, the Mercury booth recorded an estimated footfall of 250 to 350 visitors. A total of 15 potential customers completed enquiry forms, reflecting encouraging interest in Mercury products and marine solutions.
The weekend proved to be an inspiring success, delivering robust commercial results highlighted by solid sales across outboard engines and maintenance products. Through valuable direct feedback and meaningful face-to-face consultations with local river users, we gained a clearer understanding of regional marine preferences. By meeting the local boating community in person, Pansar proudly strengthened our bonds on the ground, successfully reinforcing our commitment to supporting the everyday needs of Sarawak’s waterways.
This community-focused event reflects a proud dedication to Sustainable Development Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by championing local commerce and market activity, Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by introducing reliable modern marine technology, and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by building lasting, heartfelt relationships with regional partners and local communities.
