6 June 2026, Pansar proudly stepped forward as the Platinum Sponsor for the 71st Sabah Builders Association (SBA) Anniversary Dinner, reinforcing our deep-rooted commitment to Sabah’s development. The milestone celebration took place at the Dewan Hakka Sabah in Kota Kinabalu and was attended by a broad range of industry-related professionals, including local civil engineering and building contractors, building material suppliers, and machinery dealers.
Pansar established our first Sabah branch over five decades ago in 1970. We used this premier event to strengthen our long-term partnerships and showcase our robust ecosystem of industry-focused solutions through a dedicated booth inside the hall. Before the main event started, we brought vibrant local energy to our space by inviting dancers dressed in beautiful traditional costumes to perform a lively Sabah traditional dance right in front of our booth. Embracing the rich cultural heritage, our own team members attending the event also proudly wore traditional Sabah attire, allowing us to deeply connect with the community and show our local identity.
We have displayed a backdrop at our indoor booth that highlighted our comprehensive offerings across our business divisions, including building and construction materials, agro engineering, marine and industrial, and electrical and air conditioning. To welcome everyone who stopped by, we distributed an exclusive JCB Cash Voucher worth RM300 to all visitor. For participants who showed keen interest in buying our products, we prepared an exciting lucky spin wheel activity, allowing them to spin and walk away with a special free gift, including thermo flasks, JCB T-shirts, and JCB caps.
Outside the exhibition hall, we set up an impressive heavy-duty display featuring our core equipment, including our JCB backhoe loader, mini excavator, and telehandler, alongside the cutting-edge Mercury outboards Fourstroke V8 250hp and Twostroke 40hp, demonstrating our total capability to support the building and marine ecosystem.
That night was filled with entertainment, featuring many spectacular performances such as a traditional face-changing show, dance and singing performances, and an exciting lucky draw session. To heighten the evening’s excitement, Pansar also contributed to the lucky draw session by sponsoring premium prizes, including KDK fans and Philips lighting products for the fortunate winners. After that, our Sales and Marketing Director, Ms. Rosalind Law, received a plaque of appreciation and a certificate of honor from the SBA President, Mr. Paul Luk.
