Pansar Kuala Lumpur Tree Planting 2024 in Banting, Selangor

28 September 2024, Pansar Kuala Lumpur proudly collaborated with DUN Banting and Kuala Langat Municipal Council (MPKL), and organised a tree planting tree event at Banting Waterfront.

Pansar was represented by 37 staff members who were joined by 16 representatives from Liberty, including Mr. Yeo Hui Bin, Senior Vice President [representative for Ms. Grace Quah Seok Chen, Chief Distribution Officer (CDO)]. The event began at 7 AM with breakfast at the riverfront, where participants gathered with our Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr. David Tai. This allowed everyone to prepare for the day’s activities.

The program was officially inaugurated by YB Tuan Papparaidu Veraman, Exco of Human Resources and Poverty Eradication of the State of Selangor & ADUN Banting. Also present were Tuan Mohd Hasry Bin Nor Mohd, the Chairman, Council Members and staff of the Kuala Langat Municipal Council.

By 7:30 AM, Mr David Tai handed over a seedling to Tuan Mohd Hasry to symbolically sponsoring 1,000 saplings for this tree planting event, witnessed by YB Tuan Papparaidu. The saplings included Magnolia Cempaka, Ruellia Simplex (Mexican Petunia), and Eugenia Oleina (Kelat Paya), all carefully chosen together with MPKL Landscaping Department for their potential to enhance the area’s biodiversity and visual appeal.

This was the second major tree-planting event Pansar has been involved in this year, reflecting our strong dedication to sustainability and community engagement. By actively participating in such initiatives, Pansar continues to support the Sustainable Development Goals and remains committed to fostering positive environmental change.
