Mercury Day at Pansar Bintulu Branch Showcased Mercury Outboard Engine Solutions and Strengthened Local After-Sales Support

15 April 2025, Pansar Bintulu branch successfully hosted the Mercury Day Mini Product Launch event at our Tanjung Batu office from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. This event was organised to showcase Mercury outboard engines and emphasize our commitment to providing reliable local support and after-sales service in Bintulu. This initiative reflects our dedication to ensuring that customers receive not only quality products but also timely and comprehensive assistance throughout the product lifecycle.

This event was held in collaboration with Mercury Singapore and featured Mr. Anandan Krishnamurthy, Senior Business Development Manager. The session also included key representatives from Pansar, including Mr. Yeh Ching Un, Client Relationship Manager; Mr. Toh Teck Siu, Head of Marine and Industries Division; Mr. Alexander Hii, General Manager of Marine and Industries Division; and Ms. Wong Ing Chie, Assistant Manager of Service Parts. Additional support was provided by staff from Pansar’s Miri branch, represented by Mr. Henry Chin, Sales Manager; Mr. Daniel Chong, Sales Executive; and Mdm Kong Siok Fang, Sales Representative.

The event began with a welcoming speech by Mr. Hu Kee San, Branch Manager of Pansar Bintulu, who introduced the objective of the event and reaffirmed Pansar’s commitment to supporting the marine industry in Bintulu. He also highlighted the importance of after-sales support in maintaining product performance and customer satisfaction. Following the introduction, Mr. Anandan Krishnamurthy delivered an insightful presentation covering Mercury’s range of outboard engines and their technical features.

There were approximately 40 invited guests who attended the event, including representatives from government departments, the Police Marine Unit, Customs Marine, Bomba, Bintulu Port Sdn Bhd, Murum Hydro Power Generation Sdn Bhd, Bakun Hydro Power Generation Sdn Bhd, local shipyards, and marine contractors.

The highlight of the event was the in-depth product presentation, which showcased Mercury’s outboard engine capabilities and the comprehensive support services offered by Pansar. Through this initiative, Pansar reinforced its readiness to meet the evolving needs of Mercury users and marine industry stakeholders in Bintulu. To foster further engagement, the event concluded with a tea break and lunch, allowing guests to exchange ideas, offer feedback, and strengthen professional connections in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
