PANSAR – YANMAR’s rice transplanter gets the job done

SIBU – Paddy farmers were shown ways and means to improve their planting with a rice transplanter that has been tailor engineered to tackle challenging Malaysian soil conditions.

At a recent seminar and live demonstration in Alor Setar, Pansar showed that its Yanmar VP6X could tackle deep uncompromising or poorly ploughed soil that left some transplanters immobile and ineffective. It was also able to plant neatly and within the stipulated distance thereby ensuring higher percentage of area planted.

Pansar through its global alliance with Yanmar has been introducing total solutions packages for various industries such as agriculture, marine and power generation by harnessing cutting edge technologies.

More than 100 people comprising of farmers, villagers and government officials from various departments and agencies turned up for the event. Among those present from the PANSAR YANMAR team were Kazuto Ishioka, Hideki Ueda, Hiroyuki Nakagawa, Goh Chin Hhat, Christy Roger Simon and Albert Teng Lung Wui.
