Miri (20 Jan 2005): Pan Sarawak Co Sdn Bhd & Lincoln Electric Co (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd jointly organized the Lincoln Welding Technologies/Solutions seminar at a local hotel here today. Pan Sarawak Co Sdn Bhd has been the distributor for the Lincoln welding products in East Malaysia for the past 25 years. The extensive networks and strong technical support of Pan Sarawak attributed to the success of this partnership all this while. Mr Victor Lim, Regional Director of Sales of Lincoln Electric Co (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd in his presentation said that Lincoln is celebrating its 110th anniversary this year. Because of our broad range of product and services, Lincoln Electric is the one source for all of your welding and cutting needs. In his address to a group of 40 participants from shipbuilding and oil & gas industries from Miri and Bintulu, he said that industries around the world must make changes to be competitive. He presented to the participants transformation in welding processes that helps increase in quality and productivity.
The products being introduced in the seminar are: Invertec V350 pro, Invertec V16TP, Invertec STT2 and Vantage 500 engine driven set which are particularly suitable for stick, Tig and Mig welding process.
Typical application: field construction, shipbuilding, offshore oil platforms, pressure vessels, stainless tanks, pipeline welding, automotive and general fabrication.
The seminar was later concluded with a live demonstration by Lincoln welding experts.
