Pansar E&AC Division Connects and Charges Forward at a Successful First Conference in Roxy Sematan, Kuching

7 to 9 May 2026, Pansar’s Electrical & Air Conditioning (E&AC) Division successfully organized its first Sales Conference at Roxy Sematan Resort, Kuching, marking a significant milestone for the division. The three-day conference brought together salespeople from across the division who are from Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu, Miri, Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, and Tawau, along with the Sales Coordination team, to strengthen product knowledge, enhance sales competencies, and foster collaboration in support of the division’s business objectives.

On the first day, the team gathered at The Limetree Hotel at 7 am before moving to the resort together by bus. The conference officially started at 10:30 am, opening with a welcoming introduction by the emcee, paving the way for the Sales and Marketing Director, Ms. Rosalind. Her opening address warmly set the tone for the event as she outlined the primary objectives of the conference. Following this, the E&AC Business Unit Manager, Mr. Eric, took the stage to provide vital divisional updates, present overall sales performance, and review actual results against the allocated budget. Product Manager Ms. Bong then shared a detailed comparison of the sales budget against actual sales for each salesperson, both this year and last year. This data was presented transparently to give the sales team clear insight into their performance as well as the quarterly incentive scheme, with the ultimate goal of driving motivation and boosting efforts toward achieving this year’s targets.

An ice-breaking session was conducted to encourage interaction and strengthen teamwork among participants from different branches. For this segment, the division engaged in an energetic, interactive drum circle led by a facilitator. Participants vibrantly played a variety of percussion instruments, including large colorful drums beaten with red mallets, hand drums, tambourines, and djembes. By striking the drums and shaking the tambourines in a synchronized rhythm, the activity created a lively, high-energy atmosphere that successfully broke the ice and fostered closer connections among the team.

The first day featured product training sessions conducted by Pansar’s principal partners, including Schneider Electric, EV Connection Sdn. Bhd., and Signify. Participants gained valuable insights into Schneider Home solutions, electric vehicle charging technologies, and Philips consumer and professional lighting products. To ensure a comprehensive understanding, each speaker held an open question-and-answer session at the end of their segment, allowing participants to clarify technical points and ask specific questions. These interactive training sessions provided participants with the latest product knowledge and technical insights, enabling them to better address customers’ requirements and recommend suitable solutions.

On the second day, participants attended a sales development programme titled “The Complete Sales Skills & Strategies Master Class”, facilitated by Mr. Daniel Kee. The program covered essential topics such as sales mindset, customer journey, strategic selling, competitive positioning, sales processes, unique selling propositions (USP), customer behaviour, objection handling, and effective closing techniques. Interactive discussions and group activities encouraged active participation while reinforcing practical sales approaches. During these activities, groups used large puzzle pieces to express their thoughts and goals, with one team even detailing company slogans on their section. These individual pieces were ultimately connected together on the floor to form a single, unified final outcome. After the training, they took a group photo outside the hall.

Following this, everyone gathered for a campfire evening. This relaxed evening activity allowed everyone to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and beach environment of Roxy Sematan while sharing drinks and snacks. It provided a wonderful opportunity to strengthen relationships, exchange personal experiences, and promote greater teamwork and collaboration among colleagues from different branches. On the third day, participants checked out of the hotel in the morning and travelled back together by bus.

As the first Sales Conference organized by the Electrical & Air Conditioning Division, the event represents an important milestone in the division’s commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
