Pansar Showcases Mercury Roadshow at Sibu International Powerboat Race 2026

24 to 26 April 2026, Pansar participated in the Sibu International Powerboat Race 2026 held at Pulau Li Hua Waterfront, Sibu, where a Mercury promotional booth was set up throughout the three-day event. The participation aimed to strengthen Mercury’s presence within the local maritime community while providing visitors with the opportunity to explore Mercury outboard engines, genuine spare parts, lubricants, and marine solutions.

Pansar’s presence at the event included Mr Toh Teck Siu, Head of the Marine and Industrial Division; Mr Harry Chuo Sing Teck, Assistant Sales Manager of the Marine and Industrial Division; Mr Desmond Ngu Wei Bin, Product Executive of the Marine and Industrial Division; Mr Nicholas Lau Chan, Assistant Branch Manager; Mr Michael Wong Tung Sing, Senior Sales Executive of the Electrical and Aircon Division; Mr Edwin Sri Jaya Tang, Sales Executive of the Building and Construction Materials Division; and Mr Gilbert Lai Yong Yau, Sales Executive of the Building and Construction Materials Division. Throughout the three-day event, the team introduced Mercury products and marine solutions to visitors and shared product knowledge with boat owners, river transport operators, fishermen, racing participants, and members of the local maritime community attending the Sibu International Powerboat Race 2026.

The Mercury promotional booth featured a showcase of Mercury 2-Stroke outboard engines, including the 9.9 horsepower, 15 horsepower, and 40 horsepower models. Visitors had the opportunity to view the engines up close and learn more about their features and applications. In addition to the engine display, Mercury shirts and Mercury caps were presented to selected potential customers as promotional items. This initiative enhanced visitor engagement and further increased the visibility of the Mercury brand during the Sibu International Powerboat Race 2026.

Across the three-day event, the Mercury promotional booth recorded an estimated footfall of 300 to 600 visitors. A total of 40 potential customers completed enquiry forms, reflecting encouraging interest in Mercury products and marine solutions. In addition, 150 promotional flyers were distributed to visitors throughout the event. The roadshow also contributed to increased engagement on Pansar’s social media platforms, with 30 new followers gained on Facebook and 80 new followers gained on TikTok.

Through its participation in the event, Pansar continues to strengthen Mercury brand awareness while building closer engagement with customers and the local maritime community. Pansar remains committed to delivering reliable marine products and solutions to support the needs of river users and boat owners across the region.
