28 February 2026, Pansar Kota Kinabalu Branch held its 2026 Annual Dinner at D Hutan Restobar, marking a refreshing shift from its previous in-office celebrations. This change was made to provide a fresh environment and enhance the overall experience for both staff and invited guests. The event came alive with a lively “Mafia Night” theme as attendees dressed in stylish themed outfits, creating an energetic and memorable atmosphere right from the start. There are approximately 90 participants joined the celebration that night, including Pansar Kota Kinabalu Branch staff, colleagues from Pansar HQ Sibu, Pansar Kuching branch, and Pansar Tawau Branch, along with 20 invited guests who were contractors, suppliers and sponsors.
The evening opened with inspiring speeches by Pansar Sabah Regional Manager, Mr. Lee Muk Sui and our Chief Operating Officer, Mr. David Tai. Both leaders warmly expressed their appreciation for the team’s hard work and dedication, while highlighting the importance of continued collaboration and teamwork across the Pansar family. The official programme then began with an Ang Pao distribution session that immediately set a joyful and festive tone for the night.
A series of engaging activities kept the energy high throughout the evening. These included the Lucky Draw and Ang Pao Lucky Pick for all staff, followed by the presentation of 12 Grand Prizes consisting of electrical appliances and attractive vouchers. The fun continued with the Karaoke Competition in both solo and group categories, the exciting Best Outfit Competition for male and female participants, and a stylish Mafia-themed catwalk showcase by the shortlisted finalists. Best Female Dress was awarded to Ms Dayana Mohd Alung while Best Male Dress went to Mr Jikson Jalis. The night concluded with a lively dancing segment that brought staff and invited guests together on the floor.
In a special moment of appreciation and recognition, Long Service Awards were presented to 3 deserving staff members for their loyal service of 10 and 25 years. The Pansar Young Rising Stars Award was also given to 3 outstanding staff members in recognition of their exceptional performance and promising potential.
In conclusion, the event turned out to be a resounding success. It delivered an unforgettable evening filled with entertainment, gratitude and warm fellowship. The night provided a valuable opportunity to celebrate achievements together while strengthening relationships among staff, business partners and guests, and further building team spirit and unity within the Pansar family.
