Pansar Makes First Donation of Enware Safety Shower and Eyewasher Units to Healthcare Institutions in Sarawak

18 March 2026, Pansar held a handover ceremony at the lobby of Pansar Head Office in Sibu, marking its first donation of safety equipment to healthcare institutions in Sarawak.

During the ceremony, Pansar Chief Operating Officer, Mr David Tai presented Enware Safety Showers and Eyewashers to representatives from several healthcare institutions. The healthcare representatives present included Dr Teh Jo Hun (District Health Officer), Dr Nanthakumar A/L Thirunavukkarasu (Director, Sibu Hospital), Dr Cheng Jian Yuan (Head of Pathology Department, Sibu Hospital), Dr Lim Chun Shen (OSH Head of Unit, Sarawak Heart Centre), and Dr Doreen Lau Siew Jen (OSH Head of Unit, Sibu Hospital). The ceremony was also attended by Pansar’s Head of Sustainability Mr Raymond Ngu and the President of Pansar Staff Club Ms Tie Teck Sun.

A total of 9 units of Enware Safety Shower and Eyewasher systems were contributed under this initiative to Sibu Hospital, Sibu Jaya Health Clinic, OYA Health Clinic, Selangau Health Clinic, and Sarawak Heart Center in Kuching, with an estimated market value of RM48,960. These units serve as essential emergency response equipment designed to provide immediate decontamination in the event of chemical exposure, particularly in clinical and laboratory environments.

This initiative reflects Pansar Berhad’s ongoing commitment to supporting the healthcare sector by enhancing workplace safety standards and ensuring that frontline facilities are better equipped to respond to emergencies. Through this contribution, Pansar continues to play its role in promoting a safer and more prepared working environment for healthcare professionals.
