Pansar Marks a Milestone with Our First EV Charger Launching at The Spring Mall, Kuching

13 October 2025, Pansar marked a significant milestone with the launch of our first-ever Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger at The Spring’s Premier Car Park in Kuching. The installation of the Schneider Electric EVlink Pro DC Fast Charger (60kW) represents our commitment to advancing clean mobility and supporting sustainable infrastructure development in Sarawak.

The launch event was attended by Pansar management and staff, including Mr. David Tai, Chief Operating Officer, Datin’ Christine Ling, General Manager of The Spring Management Services, Ms. Rosalind Law, Sales and Marketing Director, Mr. Eric Phan, Electrical and Aircon Business Unit Manager, Ms. Bong Siao Mei, Electric and Aircon Product Manager, Mdm Noreen from JomCharge, and Mr. Felix Chiam, Kuching Branch Manager, together with 10 of our Kuching branch staff.

During the event, Ms Rosalind delivered the opening speech and highlighted the importance of this initiative in supporting Sarawak’s transition towards a greener and more sustainable future. Her BYD Seal, our first EV company car, was also charged at the new station as a symbolic gesture to mark the beginning of our clean mobility journey.

Following the speech, JomCharge technicians conducted a demonstration and training session for both our staff and The Spring management, focusing on the charger’s operation and maintenance. The event concluded with a group photo to mark this meaningful milestone.

Pansar supports the Sustainable Development Goals and is committed to achieving them. This initiative aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and Goal 13 (Climate Action), reflecting our dedication to supporting the growth of sustainable infrastructure and reducing environmental impact.
