11 June to 12 June 2025, Pansar Sandakan and Pansar Heavy Equipment participated in the Malaysia Palm Oil Expo (MAPEX) 2025, held at Dewan Hakka Sandakan, Sabah. This two-day expo provided Pansar with a valuable platform to engage directly with industry stakeholders and demonstrate how our diverse range of solutions can support not only core plantation operations but also the wider infrastructure and development needs of the palm oil sector.
Mr. Lee Muk Sui, Pansar Sabah Regional Manager, Mr. Lau Ing Jun, Pansar Sandakan Branch Manager, and Ms. Rosalind Law, Sales and Marketing Director, were present at the expo to reaffirm Pansar’s commitment to local market engagement and customer support. In addition, the Pansar Sandakan sales team also attended the expo, each contributing their expertise in agro engineering, building construction materials, marine and industrial, as well as electrical and air conditioning divisions, to engage with visitors across multiple sectors.
Pansar took this opportunity to introduce a broader audience to the comprehensive range of solutions we offer across various industries. Beyond serving the operational needs of the palm oil sector, the showcase also highlighted products that support building and construction, marine and industrial, agro engineering, and electrical and aircon appliances. Our Pansar booth featured Mercury outboards and parts, Yanmar engines and gensets, Lysaght and Rockwool roofing materials, UAC cement boards, Leili fertilizers and agrochemicals, as well as Philips solar and LED lighting systems, each selected to reflect the versatility and reliability of our offerings.
In addition, Pansar Heavy Equipment also presented a series of JCB machines, including the JCB backhoe loader, excavator, compactor, and skid steer loader outside of the Dewan hall, demonstrating their capability to support land development, maintenance work, and plantation infrastructure needs with efficiency and performance.
Throughout the event, visitors to the Pansar booth were welcomed by team members who provided brochures, shared technical insights, and discussed specific applications suited to individual operational requirements. This outreach helped strengthen relationships with estate owners, contractors, consultants, and other key stakeholders, further affirming Pansar’s position as a reliable solutions partner across multiple industries.
Besides, YB Mrs. Vivian Wong, Member of Parliament for P186 Sandakan, and YB Mr. Poong Jin Zhe, Sabah Minister of Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship, visited our booths during the events. Their presence added significance to the expo and reflected the value of engagement between public leaders and participating industry players.
On the last day of the event, Pansar and Pansar Heavy Equipment were presented with a Certificate of Participation by the MAPEX 2025 organiser in recognition of our involvement. This acknowledgement reinforces our commitment to contributing to Sandakan’s industrial development and our intention to continue supporting local industry events that foster connection, collaboration, and sustainable growth.
