You Are Not Alone: Pansar Family Stands with Our Staff Affected by the Bintulu Floods

When disaster strikes, family comes together. On 29 January 2025, devastating floods swept through Bintulu, leaving homes underwater and families facing immense loss. Among those affected were 22 of our own, Pansar colleagues whose homes suffered severe damage as floodwaters surged through their communities.

Moved by their struggles, our Sales and Marketing Director, Miss Rosalind Law, took the first step in organizing a flood relief donation drive. With strong support from our Chief Operating Officer, Mr. David Tai, and our Managing Director, Datuk Jason Tai. Recognizing the urgent need to assist our affected colleagues, a flood relief donation drive was quickly set into motion. Contributions poured in from staff across Malaysia, Pansar’s management, and Datuk Jason Tai himself, whose personal donation reflected the company’s deep commitment to its people. The overwhelming response was a testament to the strong bonds within our Pansar family and a reminder that no one has to face difficult times alone.

What made this effort even more meaningful was the support from colleagues in Sabah, KL, Penang, and Singapore. Some had never met their Bintulu teammates in person, yet they stepped forward to help without hesitation. Their generosity showed that distance does not matter when it comes to looking out for one another.

On 12 March 2025, we gathered at the Pansar Bintulu office to distribute financial aid to the affected staff. Representing Pansar’s management, Mr. Hu Kee San (Pansar Bintulu Branch Manager), Mr. Yeh Ching Un (Client Relationship Manager), Mr. Royston Anak Mengering (Deputy General Manager) and Mr. Ting Tiew Voon (Project Manager), handed over the aid. More than financial support, this was a message of care and solidarity.

Pansar is more than just a workplace. It is a family. In times of need, we stand together, no matter where we are. To everyone who contributed, your kindness has made a real difference.
