Pansar booth received overwhelming response from visitors to annual Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus’ Career Discovery Day which was held on April 16.
More than 50 job application forms were received from the more than a hundred students and jobseekers who visited the booth.
The career fair, participated by 40 companies, was officiated by the Swinburne Sarawak chief executive and pro vice chancellor Professor Anthony Cahalan.
“The fair is a good bridge for existing students, fresh graduates and job seekers to source for industry placement and training programmes as well as to network and make professional contacts.
“It serves as an important starting platform for students and graduates to launch their career,” Cahalan said in his speech.
During the fair, there was also a personality career matching assessment and sharing sessions by successful entrepreneur Datuk Philip Ting on “How to succeed in life”.
Renowned local blogger Kenny Sia meanwhile shared his experience on “How to become your own boss”.
