Pansar Brings Energy and Innovation to Sarawak Regatta 2025 with Mercury Roadshow

31 October to 2 November 2025, Pansar participated in the Mercury Roadshow held at The Old Courthouse, Kuching, in conjunction with the Sarawak Regatta 2025. This three-day event, held from Friday to Sunday, aimed to enhance Mercury’s presence within the local maritime community and provide visitors with the opportunity to explore Mercury’s latest outboard engine technologies, genuine spare parts, and marine solutions.

Pansar’s presence at the Mercury Roadshow was reinforced by a dedicated team, ensuring smooth operations and meaningful engagement with visitors throughout the three-day event. The Kuching team comprised Ms Rosalind Law (Sales & Marketing Director), Mr Felix Chiam (Pansar Kuching Branch Manager), Mr Kelvin Lim (Sales Engineer), Mr Daniel Wong (Sales Engineer), Mr Nigel (Technician), Mr Kliffer (Technician), and Ms Addirence (Technician). We also had support from Pansar Sibu, who contributed their expertise and assistance, including Mr Toh Teck Siu (Head of Marine Division), Mr Desmond Ngu (Marine & Industrial Product Executive), and Mr Wong Ing Chie (Assistant Manager Service Parts). There were also Miri team members who came to support the event, including Mr Tiong Young Pink (Pansar Miri Branch Manager), Ms Kong Siok Fang (Sales Executive), Mr Daniel Chong (Sales Executive), and Mr Eddy Laing (Technician). In addition, Mr Zainudin (Pansar Kota Kinabalu Branch) also provided sales and service support during the event. There was a total of 27 Pansar staff members supporting the event, including our Kuching branch internal staff who came to assist.

The Mercury Roadshow featured a comprehensive showcase of Mercury outboard engines, including the 350hp Verado, 200hp Verado, 115hp FourStroke, 40hp 2-Stroke, and 20hp 2-Stroke. Many visitors were drawn to the giant 350hp Verado, taking photos and interacting with the display. In addition to the engines, Pansar offered a variety of Mercury merchandise, including 10 types of shirts and 2 types of caps, which were popular among visitors. This combination of products and merchandise created an engaging and memorable experience for attendees, leaving a lasting impression of the Mercury brand during Sarawak Regatta 2025.

We were honoured to receive a visit from the Sarawak Coast Guard, whom we had invited as special guests. Before the lunch session, Ms Rosalind Law and Mr Zainudin delivered speeches to welcome the guests and express appreciation for their support. The visit included an engagement session and lunch, providing an opportunity to strengthen rapport and exchange insights on marine operations. As a gesture of appreciation, we presented a limited-edition Mercury Verado Oversized Shirt as a token of gratitude for their support and presence at the event.

Across the three days, the Mercury Roadshow recorded an estimated footfall of 500 visitors. A total of 25 private potential customers completed enquiry forms, indicating strong interest in Mercury products. Additionally, 600 promotional flyers were distributed. The event also contributed to notable engagement on Pansar’s social media platforms, gaining 46 new followers on Facebook and 142 new followers on TikTok.
