9 January 2025, Pansar Bintulu branch in collaboration with Philips organized the Philips Professional Lighting training, bringing together Philips lighting industry professionals, Pansar dealers, and Pansar staff to explore the latest advancements in lighting technology. Ms. Bong Siao Mei (Product Manager of the Electrical and Aircon Business Division) also flew to Bintulu to join and support the event.
The training began with a registration session, followed by an opening speech from Mr. Hu Kee San (Pansar Bintulu Branch Manager), who welcomed the attendees and highlighted the importance of continuous learning in the evolving lighting industry.
The first session, “Illuminating Innovation: Introducing Indoor Lighting Solutions”, was led by Mr. Arsalan (Product Marketing Manager from Signify) and co-led by Mr. Justin (Sales Manager from Signify). This session explored the latest advancements in Philips Professional Indoor Lighting.
The next session, “Lighting the Way: Unveiling Outdoor Lighting Innovations”, provided insights into the latest developments in Philips Professional Outdoor Lighting technology. Mr. Arsalan introduced the benefits of the Smart Bright Solar All-in-One Streetlight hybrid solution, while Mr. Justin demonstrated the product sample on the spot.
Throughout the training, participants were introduced to Philips’ comprehensive range of professional lighting solutions, including Smart Bright panels, Weatherproof Battens, Highbay Lighting, CCT-Selectable Trunkable Battens, Deep Recessed Downlighters, Dimmable Spotlights, and the TB LED Portfolio. Case studies were also shared on the use of Uni String for the Kuching Padungan Arch and Uni Flood M for Padungan Kuching MBKS. These sessions provided valuable knowledge on the technical aspects, efficiency, and applications of the latest lighting innovations.
The session concluded with a Q&A segment conducted by Mr. Arsalan, where attendees had the opportunity to test their knowledge. Those who answered correctly were rewarded with a Starbucks gift card as a token of appreciation. The training then continued with a Product Showcase Tour, where participants experienced the latest lighting solutions firsthand. Mr. Arsalan also provided explanations and addressed queries as attendees explored the showcased products, further enhancing their understanding of the technology.
This training strengthened salespersons’ product knowledge, enabling them to better understand technical specifications, key selling points, and applications of Philips Professional Lighting solutions.
