Pansar and Deutz (DAP) Empower Workforce with Advanced EMR Training

Kuala Lumpur, November 6 to 8, 2023 – Pansar and Deutz (DAP) successfully coordinated an extensive course training initiative. The event brought together 16 participants from both the East and West branches, fostering a collaborative learning atmosphere.

This program primarily focused on enhancing the participants’ skills in utilising the Deutz Diagnosis Tool (DECOM) for software management, dataset administration, graphical representation, and program modifications. Conducted by two experienced instructors, Mr. Zhang Li from Shanghai, China, and Mr. Alvin Lim from DAP, Singapore, a significant aspect of the course delved into a thorough examination of the Electronic Control Unit (EMR) utilised in engines.

A noteworthy highlight on the first day was the presence of key figures in the company, including Mr. Bernard, the Sales Engineer, Mr. Chong, the Regional Sales Manager, and Mr. BK Tan, the Managing Director of DAP. Their active participation underscored the strategic significance of the training program.

Throughout the course, the primary emphasis remained on the practical application of DECOM. The session demonstrated how connecting it to engine systems enables instantaneous diagnosis. Technical specialists gained the tools and knowledge needed for effective engine diagnosis through hands-on experience.

Mr. BK Tan underscored the long-term impact of such initiatives on employee development and business performance. “We believe that the ongoing training program helps employees refine their knowledge and skills, enhancing job performance and expanding their skill sets,” he said.

The collaborative effort between Pansar and Deutz (DAP) in organising this training initiative reflects a dedication to continuous learning and skill enhancement within the organisation. As participants return to their respective branches equipped with fresh insights, the anticipated ripple effect of this training is expected to positively contribute to the technical capabilities and overall proficiency of the workforce.
